Notes on Sizing

Each garment has sizing notes in the desciption and I’ve made every effort to be accurate in the measurements. If you are unsure of sizing, please reach out. I am happy to help with sizing. I also welcome any feedback on sizing/size ranges. My goal is to be create a range that is size inclusive. Just know everything in the collection is designed to be incredibly soft, colorful and FUN to wear.

Notes on Styling

The kimono style robes are meant to be worn and enjoyed when you want to feel beautiful. The lightweight cotton drapes like a dream. I like to wear mine untied over a nightgown first thing in the morning. A quick tie and you’ll be covered up in case there is a knock at the door or the dogs need to go out.

These are made to catch the breeze and flutter, so twirl to your heart’s content. Pair with your favorite soft cotton pants and t-shirt. Wear with nothing underneath - it’s up to you!

The color and pattern add a bit of whimsy and fun to your wardrobe. Mix and match to create looks that you’ll want to wear all the time.

Notes on Care

Like any of your favorite clothes, my collection of robes, loungewear and dresses are the items you will want to wear again and again. The handblocked cotton is printed using natural dyes and you’ll notice variations in color. This is the charm of handmade fabric. For items with tassels, I recommend placing the garment in a mesh bag and wash on gentle. This will keep the tassels together and looking nice.

You can wash in cold or warm water on the gentle cycle - no chlorine bleach! As you love and wear the collection, the fabric will continue to soften. Like any hand dyed fabric, the colors will soften slightly and just get better and better.

Cotton is a natural fiber and wrinkles. To minimize your time with the iron or steamer, remover from the dryer while slightly damp and hang to finish drying. If you love to iron like I do, use the iron’s cotton setting and mist with water and press to perfection.

For vintage kantha quilts, I recommend the delicate wash (limited or no agitation) setting with NO chlorine bleach. Tumble dry low or hang dry.

For embroidered pieces, DRY CLEAN.
