Woodlawn & Pope-Leighey House, Alexandria, VA

Spend Mother's Day afternoon at historic Woodlawn, built by George & Martha Washington in 1799 for Nelly Custis & Lorenzo Lewis.  We will be in the beautiful Fountain Garden creating gorgeous bouquets from a combination of foraged foliage from the surrounding historic landscape and locally sourced blossoms.  No experience needed. All supplies and tools will be provided.

Afterwards, enjoy a china-set tea of delicious and delightful petite savory bites and tea sandwiches, chocolate-covered strawberries and French-style macarons.
