I love flowers but have no experience with them. Does this matter?
The workshops are for flower levels at points in their flower journey. The small class size allows for individual attention.
How long do the classes last?
Adult classes last for 2 hours and the Young Designer classes last 90 minutes.
Am I able to take my design home at the end of class?
Yes! For centerpiece classes, the vases are yours to take home and continue to use.
What if I sign up for class and I can’t make it.
There are no refunds for classes once purchased. You can send someone in your place.
Do I need to bring any tools to class?
No, everything you need will be provided. However, if you have a favorite pair of clippers, of course bring them. For the workshops, you may want to wear an apron and bring a pair of gloves as some of the greens/flowers can be messy and have thorns/be prickly.
Do you only teach group classes in Berryville?
At this point yes. I am working on teaching a few classes closer to the DC metro area in 2019.
I have a group (bridal shower/friends/girls night out) that would like to have a private lesson. How does that work?
I can customize any of the classes for a private group at your place or the studio. Ten is the maximum number to ensure a memorable experience. Contact me directly for details.
I’m interested in a private lesson. How does that work?
One on one lessons can be tailored to what part of floral design you are interested in - centerpieces, installations, handtied bouquets, large scale arrangements, etc. Contact me directly for details.
Do you sell your flowers anywhere?
I grow a limited amount of flowers each season for workshops and event work. Occasionally I will have flowers/bouquets available and will announce via Facebook and Instagram.
Can I visit your studio/garden?
My studio and garden are not open to the public.
